Qualifications

Pricing or commercial role experience in freight forwarding (2–5 years).
Strong knowledge of air freight, sea freight, Incoterms, and shipping documentation.
Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office tools.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

Prepare freight quotations for air, ocean (FCL/LCL), and inland transportation.
Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and overseas agents to obtain competitive rates.
Maintain and update rate sheets and contracts.
Support sales team with pricing strategies and margin analysis.
Ensure accurate costing including freight, surcharges, customs, and local charges.
Monitor market trends, carrier rate changes, and competitor pricing.
Negotiate rates with vendors to improve profitability.
Ensure pricing complies with company policies and customer requirements.
Maintain pricing data in CRM / ERP systems.
Respond promptly to pricing requests and RFQs.
Assist in tenders and contract pricing for key accounts.
