Job summary

Tech First Gulf in Dubai is seeking a Presales Engineer to drive H3C Networking & ICT solutions across the UAE. You will translate customer needs into technically sound, commercially viable architectures and support sales with demos, PoCs, and proposals.

The role requires strong networking knowledge, effective communication, and experience with BoQ, RFP/RFQ processes, and partner enablement. You will collaborate with distributors and system integrators to position H3C solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of ICT/Networking Presales experience.
• Strong knowledge of networking, wireless, security, servers, storage, and enterprise infrastructure.
• Experience with Networking, Wireless, Server, and Storage products and solutions.
• Strong skills in solution design, BoQ preparation, technical proposals, and RFP/RFQ responses.
• Good understanding of LAN/WAN, WLAN, Data Center, Network Security, and Cloud technologies.
• Ability to accurately interpret network diagrams, layouts, and technical documentation.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and customer-facing skills.
• Relevant networking, wireless, security, or vendor certifications are an advantage.
• Experience working with distributors, channel partners, system integrators, and enterprise customers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer requirements and translate into viable solution architectures.
• Design and propose H3C Networking, Security, Computing, Storage, and Cloud solutions.
• Provide presales support to channel partners and sales teams.
• Prepare BoQs, technical proposals, HLD/LLD, RFP/RFQ responses, and compliance matrices.
• Conduct customer/partner presentations, product demonstrations, and PoCs.
• Coordinate with H3C technical teams and channel partners for solution validation and technical support.
• Provide partner enablement, technical training, and solution guidance.
• Support sales teams in opportunity development, solution positioning, and competitive analysis.
