Job summary

Nxdt in United Arab Emirates is seeking an experienced ICT Presales Engineer to support the design and proposal of ICT technology solutions for clients in Abu Dhabi. You will understand client requirements, develop technical solutions, prepare proposals and BOQs, and present to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Networking, Engineering or related field.
• 3–6 years of ICT/IT Presales or Solutions Engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of Networking, Cybersecurity, IT Infrastructure, Data Centre and Cloud Solutions.
• Hands-on experience preparing BOQ/BOM, RFP/RFQ responses, technical proposals and solution designs.
• Good understanding of network architecture, routing, switching, firewalls and enterprise infrastructure.
• Excellent client-facing and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand client requirements and recommend suitable ICT solutions.
• Design and develop solutions covering Networking, Cybersecurity, IT Infrastructure, Data centers, Cloud and Enterprise Technologies.
• Prepare technical proposals, BOQs, BOMs, RFP/RFQ responses and solution documentation.
• Conduct site surveys and gather technical requirements from clients.
• Prepare network and infrastructure solution designs, diagrams and architecture.
• Coordinate with sales teams to develop technically and commercially viable proposals.
• Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations and Proof of Concepts (POCs) for clients.
• Coordinate with technology vendors and distributors for product selection, specifications and pricing.
• Support tender submissions and ensure compliance with technical requirements.
• Work closely with project and implementation teams to ensure proposed solutions are technically feasible.
• Stay updated on new ICT technologies, products and industry solutions.
• Participate in client meetings and provide technical clarification throughout the sales cycle.

• Strong knowledge of Networking, Cybersecurity, IT Infrastructure, Data Centre and Cloud Solutions.
  
• Experience with technologies such as Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Aruba, HPE, Dell, VMware, Microsoft, Azure or AWS.
  
• Hands-on experience preparing BOQ/BOM, RFP/RFQ responses, technical proposals and solution designs.
  
• Good understanding of network architecture, routing, switching, firewalls and enterprise infrastructure.
  
• Strong client-facing and presentation skills.
  
• Experience working with system integrators or technology solution providers is preferred.
