Elite HR Consultancy in Dubai is seeking a Presales Engineer to join an established ICT Systems Integrator. The role focuses on understanding customer requirements and designing data center and enterprise infrastructure solutions.

You will prepare proposals, BoQs, respond to RFPs/RFQs/RFIs, support sales, coordinate with vendors, and help pricing. UAE/GCC experience is preferred, with immediate joining or relocation available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Engineering or related field.
• 5-7 years of presales experience in ICT/IT infrastructure.
• Strong data center and enterprise infrastructure experience.
• Hands-on experience in solution design, BoQ preparation and technical proposal development.
• Strong understanding of RFP/RFQ/RFI and tender processes.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong presentation and customer-facing skills.
• UAE/GCC experience is a plus.
• Immediate joiners or ability to relocate immediately.
• AED 7,000-10,000 per month salary.

• Manage and respond to RFPs, RFQs, RFIs and tenders.

• Conduct technical presentations and solution demonstrations for customers.
• Support sales teams during customer meetings and opportunity development.
• Coordinate with technology vendors and partners for solution development and pricing.
• Support costing and commercial activities in coordination with the sales team.
• Participate in Proof of Concept (PoC) activities where required.
• Provide technical clarification during the bidding and negotiation process.
• Support project handover from presales to implementation teams.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of enterprise infrastructure and data center technologies.

Presales Engineer - Data Center & ICT Solutions

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Presales Engineer to join an established ICT Systems Integrator in Dubai.

The successful candidate will be responsible for understanding customer requirements, designing appropriate technical solutions, developing proposals and BoQs, supporting RFP/RFQ/RFI processes, and working closely with sales, vendors and customers throughout the presales cycle.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in data center and enterprise infrastructure solutions, with the ability to translate business requirements into technically and commercially viable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze customer technical and business requirements.
• Design and architect ICT and data center solutions based on customer requirements.
• Prepare technical proposals, solution designs, BoQs and solution sizing.

Technical Experience

Strong understanding of one or more of the following areas:

• Storage, SAN/NAS

• Backup and Disaster Recovery
• Business Continuity and High Availability
• Data Center Infrastructure
• Data Center Security
• Cloud and Hybrid Cloud

Experience with technologies/vendors such as Cisco, HPE, Dell, VMware, Microsoft, Fortinet, Sophos, Huawei, Veeam, Azure or AWS will be an advantage.

Requirements
