Job summary

TALENTMATE in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates is seeking an experienced ICT Presales Engineer to support the design and proposal of ICT technology solutions. You will develop technical designs, prepare BOQs, and conduct technical presentations for clients.

The role requires 3–6 years in ICT presales, strong skills in networking, cybersecurity, IT infrastructure and cloud solutions, and experience with major vendors. UAE experience is preferred and the position is full-time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in IT, CS, Networking or Engineering.
• 3–6 years ICT/Presales experience in solutions engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Networking, Cybersecurity, IT Infrastructure, Data Centre and Cloud solutions.

Responsibilities

• Understand client requirements and recommend suitable ICT solutions.
• Design and develop solutions covering Networking, Cybersecurity, IT Infra, Data centers, Cloud and Enterprise Technologies.
• Prepare technical proposals, BOQs, BOMs, RFP/RFQ responses and solution documentation.
• Conduct site surveys and gather technical requirements from clients.
• Prepare network and infrastructure solution designs, diagrams and architecture.
• Coordinate with sales teams to develop technically and commercially viable proposals.
• Conduct technical presentations, product demos and Proof of Concepts (POCs).
• Coordinate with technology vendors and distributors for product selection, specs and pricing.
• Support tender submissions and ensure compliance with technical requirements.
• Collaborate with project/implementation teams to ensure feasibility.
• Stay updated on new ICT technologies and industry solutions.
• Participate in client meetings and provide technical clarification throughout the sales cycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Networking, Engineering or a related field.
• 3-6 years of experience in ICT/IT Presales or Solutions Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Networking, Cybersecurity, IT Infrastructure, Data Centre and Cloud Solutions.
• Experience with technologies such as Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Aruba, HPE, Dell, VMware, Microsoft, Azure or AWS.
• Hands-on experience preparing BOQ/BOM, RFP/RFQ responses, technical proposals and solution designs.
• Good understanding of network architecture, routing, switching, firewalls and enterprise infrastructure.
• Strong client-facing and presentation skills.
• Experience working with system integrators or technology solution providers is preferred.
• UAE experience is preferred.
