Job summary

Ingram Micro is seeking a Presales Consultant focused on Open Source and Virtualization to design, position, and adopt modern infrastructure solutions in the UAE. You will work with sales, vendors, and customers to deliver scalable architectures and proof-of-concepts that drive digital transformation and customer value.

The ideal candidate has strong presales experience, deep knowledge of Linux/open-source platforms, and certifications in Red Hat, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or VMware.

Qualifications

• Presales, solutions architect, systems engineer, or consulting experience in virtualization, Linux, cloud, or open-source tech.
• Strong knowledge of Red Hat, Ubuntu, SUSE, OpenShift, Kubernetes, VMware, and KVM.
• Experience designing and presenting complex technical solutions balancing customer requirements, business objectives, and technical feasibility.
• Demonstrated ability to manage technical projects independently, influence stakeholders, and collaborate across sales, engineering, and partner teams.
• Certifications in Red Hat, Kubernetes, OpenShift, VMware, or related technologies are highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical advisor for Open Source and Virtualization solutions across the UAE.
• Collaborate with sales teams, technology vendors, and partners to develop scalable infrastructure architectures.
• Deliver technical presentations, workshops, demonstrations, proofs-of-concepts, and solution assessments.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and market trends, shaping go-to-market strategies.
• Support business growth by influencing technical decisions and contributing to revenue objectives.
