As a Presales Consultant - Open Source / Virtualization, you’ll design and position modern infrastructure solutions, collaborating with sales, vendors, and customers to drive successful outcomes across virtualization, cloud, and open-source technologies.

Qualifications

• Experience in presales, solutions architect, systems engineer, or consulting role.
• Strong knowledge of Linux, virtualization, cloud, and open-source tech.
• Ability to design and present complex technical solutions balancing needs.
• Proven project management and stakeholder influencing skills.
• Relevant certifications (Red Hat, Kubernetes, OpenShift, VMware, or cloud platforms) valued.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical advisor for Open Source and Virtualization solutions, supporting customer engagements from discovery through solution design and proposal stages.
• Collaborate with sales teams, technology vendors, and partners to develop scalable infrastructure, virtualization, cloud, and automation architectures.
• Deliver technical presentations, workshops, demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and solution assessments that address customer business challenges.
• Partner with customers to understand current environments and recommend solutions that improve performance, scalability, security, and operational efficiency.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and market trends, helping shape go-to-market strategies and enabling internal teams on relevant solutions.
• Support business growth by influencing technical decisions, identifying opportunities, and contributing to successful customer outcomes and revenue objectives.
