Job summary

Accorhotel in Abu Dhabi is seeking a waiter/waitress to deliver food and beverage service according to standards and etiquette. You will maintain grooming, know the menu and daily specials, and proactively present options to guests while upselling where appropriate.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in professional F&B, with POS familiarity and HACCP certification. Luxury hospitality experience is a plus and you will follow safety and quality procedures throughout service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of waiter/waitress experience in a professional F&B environment.
• Knowledge of F&B service, menu items, preparation methods, ingredients, portions and pricing.
• Luxury hospitality experience is desirable.
• Proficiency with POS systems and basic financial transaction handling.
• Current Food Hygiene Certificate or HACCP certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grooming standards at all times.
• Exceed guest satisfaction by knowing preferences and updating profiles.
• Maintain knowledge of restaurant menu and daily specials.
• Familiar with beverage service, glassware, and garnishes.
• Serve and clear food and beverage items professionally.
• Present menus proactively and upsell where appropriate.
• Report guest feedback and issues via the glitch system.
• Follow HACCP and FIFO standards and emergency evacuation policy.
