Job summary

Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank is seeking a meticulous Payment Processor based in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on end-to-end payment processing, staff expenses, and ensuring accuracy in GL postings within policy guidelines.

You will also handle reconciliations, month-end activities, and ad-hoc reporting while resolving payment queries promptly. A background in accounting and ERP systems is essential.

Qualifications

• Accounting background required.
• Strong Excel skills and data accuracy.
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP).
• knowledge of financial services industry advisable.
• Experience in finance or operations preferable.

Responsibilities

• Process payments and staff expenses within SLA (5 working days).
• Ensure payments are posted to correct GLs and cost centers with proper coding.
• Maintain 99% payment accuracy and appropriate approvals.
• Perform GL reconciliations and CWIP monitoring.
• Handle month-end postings and accrual/prepaid accounting.
• Respond to payment-related queries within agreed TAT.
• Generate ad-hoc reports and analytics.
