Job summary

Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) is looking for a charged senior professional to manage payment processing and staff expenses within the Finance department in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures accurate transactions, timely reconciliations, and adherence to policies.

You will work with SAP/SAP Arabia to maintain proper GL coding and monthly closings. The ideal candidate has an accounting background and experience in financial services or operations, with strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Process payments and staff expenses within the agreed SLA (5 working days)
• Ensure payments and expenses are posted to correct GLs, cost centers and GL coding
• Maintain 99% accuracy in payments processing
• Ensure all payments processed are properly approved
• Comply with company payment policies
• Manage SAP Arabia clearing for exceptions
• Reconcile GL accounts under FCD AP ownership
• Perform control reconciliation activities
• Monitor and reconcile CWIP
• Oversee cash advances and liquidations
• Post end-of-month closing entries and reconcile prepaid/ accrued expenses with GL
• Post journal vouchers with tracking
• Respond to payment-related queries within the defined TAT
• Prepare on-demand reports and analyses
• Take on additional duties as assigned by the Line Manager

Job Description / Role:

The Payment Processor is responsible for managing payment processing and staff expenses within the Finance department at ADIB. This role ensures accurate financial transactions, reconciliation of accounts, and timely resolution of payment-related queries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process payments and staff expenses within the agreed SLA (5 working days).
• Ensure payments and expenses are processed accurately and correctly to proper GLs, cost centers, and correct GL coding.
• Process payments with 99% accuracy levels.
• Ensure all payments processed are suitably approved.
• Ensure all payments and staff expenses processed are within policy.
• Manage SAP Arabia clearing for all exceptions.
• Perform reconciliation of GL accounts under ownership of FCD AP.
• Conduct reconciliation activities for control purposes.
• Monitor and reconcile CWIP.
• Closely monitor cash advances and liquidations.
• Execute end of month closing, including post-closing entries (monthly & yearly) for prepaid & accrued general expenses and reconcile them with GL.
• Post all journal vouchers with proper tracking.
• Monitor expenses according to the details provided by the business.
• Respond to payment-related queries within the agreed TAT.
• Prepare miscellaneous on-demand reports and analysis.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Line Manager.
