First Abu Dhabi Bank in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Officer for Payment Investigation to manage discrepancies, reconcile Nostro and related accounts, and ensure timely escalation and reporting. This role supports risk controls, accurate account monitoring, and effective service delivery to internal and external customers.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in banking reconciliation, experience with card and Nostro accounts, and familiarity with IntelliMatch and SWIFT MT940/MT950.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant banking-sector experience.
• At least 3 years in a role involving account reconciliation.
• Practical experience in Cards, Nostro, and internal reconciliation.
• Knowledge of IntelliMatch or similar reconciliation systems.
• Knowledge of SWIFT standards, MT940 and MT950 messages.
• Experience in exception management, payment investigation, MIS reporting.

Responsabilités

• Reconcile Nostro, Inter-Branch, General Ledger, card, ATM, CDM, and other accounts.
• Verify ledger entries match bank statements and branch ledgers.
• Investigate outstanding items, payment discrepancies, overdrafts, and non-receipt of funds.
• Follow up with branches, departments, business units, and banks until items are resolved.
• Escalate payment exceptions according to timelines and risk levels.
• Prepare SWIFT messages for follow-up with correspondent banks.
• Prepare daily MIS reports, dashboards, and exception reports.
• Maintain daily tick lists and ensure time-sensitive tasks are completed.
