Job summary

LEAMS Education seeks a Pre-Sales Engineer - Technical Estimation in Dubai to support the trading division by reviewing project requirements and developing accurate technical and commercial quotations. Qualifications

  • Bachelor-level engineering (Diploma/B.Tech/B.E.) in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics.
  • 0–1 year of relevant experience in technical sales, estimation, trading, engineering support, or procurement.
  • Fresh engineering graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Basic understanding of quantity take-offs and bills of quantities.
  • Ability to review drawings, specifications, product information, and customer requirements.
  • Good numerical and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.

Role Context

The Pre-Sales Engineer - Technical Estimation will support the Trading Division by reviewing project requirements, calculating material quantities, preparing bills of quantities, and developing accurate technical and commercial quotations. The position connects sales, suppliers, and customers by ensuring product requirements, prices, specifications, and supporting documents are clearly prepared and followed through.

Accurate estimation and timely quotation management will help improve sales conversion, supplier responsiveness, and commercial decision‑making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review customer enquiries, drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.
  • Perform quantity take-offs for materials, products, and equipment.

  • Use Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications for calculations, records, and reports.
  • Use Outlook for professional communication with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Support AutoCAD drawing review and basic technical coordination when required.
  • Maintain accurate quotation logs and provide regular status updates.
  • Complete other reasonable pre-sales and trading support duties assigned by management.
Ideal Profile
  • Diploma, B.Tech, or Bachelor of Engineering qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics Engineering.
