Job summary
LEAMS Education seeks a Pre-Sales Engineer - Technical Estimation in Dubai to support the trading division by reviewing project requirements and developing accurate technical and commercial quotations. The role connects sales, suppliers, and customers to ensure precise prices, specs, and documents are prepared and followed through.

Qualifications
- Bachelor-level engineering (Diploma/B.Tech/B.E.) in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics.
- 0–1 year of relevant experience in technical sales, estimation, trading, engineering support, or procurement.
- Fresh engineering graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Basic understanding of quantity take-offs and bills of quantities.
- Ability to review drawings, specifications, product information, and customer requirements.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Review customer enquiries, drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.
- Perform quantity take-offs for materials, products, and equipment.
- Prepare accurate bills of quantities based on project requirements.
- Develop technical and commercial quotations for customer review.
- Confirm product specifications, quantities, pricing, delivery periods, and commercial conditions.
- Follow up on submitted quotations and record customer responses.
- Coordinate with sales teams regarding enquiry status and quotation revisions.
- Contact suppliers to obtain prices, technical data, availability, and delivery schedules.
- Compare supplier quotations and identify suitable technical and commercial options.
- Prepare product submittals, compliance statements, data sheets, and supporting technical documents.
- Maintain organized records of enquiries, quotations, supplier offers, and customer correspondence.
