Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced PMC Senior / specialist Lifting Engineer for one of our key clients in Abu Dhabi as part of our ADNOC Gas PMC team within our Oil, Gas & New Energies business. Due to the nature of the projects and client expectation, the position will be full time site based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

The key objectives for this role are:
  • Develop comprehensive lifting plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies to ensure safe and efficient execution of lifting operations.
  • Monitor lifting-related expenses, prevent overspending, and maintain financial efficiency throughout the project.
  • Maintain high construction and lifting standards, ensure compliance with local and international regulations, and conduct regular inspections of lifting equipment and operations.
  • Identify potential risks in lifting activities, implement mitigation strategies, and enforce strict safety protocols to protect personnel and assets.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to align lifting plans with overall project goals and resolve technical challenges promptly.
  • Implement eco-friendly practices in lifting operations and ensure compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability objectives.
