Job summary

Rochester Institute of Technology, Dubai (RIT Dubai) is seeking a Payroll and Employee Relations Officer to support monthly payroll, HR systems, and employee relations across the university.

You will be the main contact for employees and managers on HR policies, payroll, and benefits, ensuring accurate records and timely service delivery. The role requires bilingual English/Arabic communication and a proactive approach to process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, MIS, or related field.
• 2+ years in a similar HR/payroll role.
• Bilingual English and Arabic; professional level.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly payroll processing in coordination with Finance.
• Serve as primary contact for employees and managers on HR matters.
• Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, workplace practices, and employee concerns.
• Process employee grievances, complaints, and workplace conflicts as per policy.
• Maintain confidential records of employee relations cases.
• Update and maintain employee information on the HCM system.
• Ensure HR data accuracy and timely document issuance (employment letters, certificates).
• Coordinate HR activities for end-of-service calculations and final settlements.
