Rosewood Abu Dhabi's Pastry team seeks a Commis – Pastry to assist in preparing and producing pastry items for daily service. You will work under the Sous Chef to maintain high standards in a fast-paced, luxury hotel kitchen.

You will follow recipes, ensure cleanliness and food safety, and support the pastry brigade in delivering exceptional desserts and pastry experiences for guests.

Formación

• Experience in a pastry kitchen within a hotel, restaurant, bakery or similar setting.
• Passion for pastry arts and eagerness to learn and develop skills.
• Strong knowledge of food hygiene, sanitation, and safe handling.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and committed to high-quality standards.
• English communication; additional language skills are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare mise en place and pastry items for service under the Sous Chef.
• Follow standardized recipes, portion controls, and presentation guidelines.
• Maintain sanitation, storage, and cleanliness in the pastry area.
• Assist in maintaining pastry equipment and work areas.
• Support a safe, collaborative kitchen environment and uphold quality standards.
