Job summary

Rosewood Abu Dhabi is seeking an Executive Pastry Chef to lead the pastry department across all outlets, events, and culinary experiences. You will drive innovation, quality, and profitability while mentoring a talented team of pastry professionals.

You will oversee menu development, production planning, and cost control, collaborating with Culinary, F&B, Events, and Sales to elevate the guest experience and strengthen the hotel's culinary reputation.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in pastry operations within luxury hospitality.
• Advanced knowledge of desserts, artisan breads, sugar artistry, and large-scale production.
• Strong financial acumen including food cost management and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Lead all pastry and bakery operations across restaurants, lounges, in-room dining, banquets, events, and VIP experiences.
• Oversee menu development, production planning, and quality assurance for pastry and bakery offerings.
• Drive cost control, food safety, and hygiene standards across the department.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop pastry staff to maintain high performance and collaboration.
• Collaborate with Culinary, F&B, Events, and Sales teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and innovate concepts to keep the operation competitive.
