Job summary

Hilton Dubai is seeking a Commis 2 (Pastry Chef) to support daily pastry production for restaurants and banquets, delivering high-quality pastries that reflect Hilton's hospitality standards.

You will lead day-to-day pastry operations, prepare breads, rolls, breakfast pastries and desserts, assist in menu development, and ensure consistent presentation and freshness while supervising junior teammates and upholding health and safety guidelines in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day pastry operations: oversee preparation, execution, and presentation of pastries and desserts.
• Produce high-quality pastries: breads, rolls, breakfast pastries, and desserts following standard recipes.
• Enhance menu offerings: assist in creating new pastry recipes and seasonal menus.
• Ensure quality and presentation: decorate pastries with creativity and maintain high standards.
• Manage product inventory: ensure adequate supplies and proper storage for freshness.
• Supervise and coach team members, fostering a productive work environment.
• Uphold health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations.
