Job summary

Grosvenor House Dubai and Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort & Spa seeks an accomplished Executive Chef to oversee daily kitchen operations at our luxury Dubai properties. You will lead and mentor staff, ensure outstanding food quality, maintain sanitation standards, and manage budgets while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities include menu design, recipe development, cost control, supplier coordination, and enforcing brand standards across all culinary outlets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 4 years of relevant experience.
• 2-year degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with 2 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and cooks foods of all types for regular service or functions.
• Reviews and adjusts kitchen systems and procedures for effectiveness.
• Develops and creates new menus and recipes based on standards or artistic contributions.
• Ensures sanitation and food safety standards are met.
• Supervises kitchen shift operations and staff.
• Maintains purchasing, receiving and storage standards.
• Guides and develops staff including direct reports.
• Interacts with guests to ensure high satisfaction.
