Job summary

Edit Haus in Abu Dhabi is seeking a disciplined order coordinator to manage the full lifecycle of customizable furniture projects for premium residences. You will guide orders from approval, through factory release, to delivery, coordinating with sales, production, procurement and delivery teams.

You will visit sites, present materials, capture precise selections, take basic measurements, and ensure the quotation matches production specs.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Interior Design, Operations, Sales, Project Coordination or related field.
• 1–5 years of experience in furniture, interiors, fit-out, joinery, home furnishing, retail operations or similar client-facing role.
• Strong customer-facing and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of English; additional languages are a plus.
• Willing to travel frequently within the UAE.
• Valid UAE driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage confirmed customer orders from order approval through factory release, production follow-up, delivery and final closure.
• Contact customers and schedule site visits at villas, apartments and other project locations.
• Visit clients with material samples, fabric books, colour swatches, finishes and references.
• Assist customers in finalizing selections in line with quotations and specifications.
• Record all confirmed customer selections accurately; take or verify basic site measurements as required.
• Prepare digital specification and approval forms for each order; obtain customer signatures before releasing to production.
• Coordinate with factory to ensure drawings, finishes, and materials are understood; prevent outdated specs from production.
• Maintain order status in the order management system and update relevant teams.
• Travel regularly across UAE locations; provide updates on active orders and deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

Manage confirmed customer orders from order approval through factory release production follow-up delivery and final closure Contact customers and schedule site visits at villas apartments and other project locations Visit clients with the appropriate Edit Haus material samples fabric books colour swatches finish samples and product references Present and explain available materials finishes colours fabrics hardware and customization options Assist customers in finalizing selections in accordance with the approved quotation and available product specifications Record all confirmed customer selections accurately Take or verify basic site measurements where required and identify access delivery or installation constraints Prepare digital specification and approval forms for each order Obtain customer digital signatures or electronic approval before releasing customized orders to production Ensure all customer-approved specifications match the quotation SKU dimensions materials finishes and commercial terms Identify any variation that may affect price lead time or production feasibility and obtain internal approval before confirming it to the customer Prepare complete factory release documentation with clear production specifications Coordinate with the factory to ensure approved drawings dimensions finishes materials fabrics and customization requirements are correctly understood Prevent outdated or superseded specifications from being used for production Follow up with the factory on material availability production status and expected completion dates Maintain accurate order status updates within the company s order management system Coordinate with sales factory procurement accounts and delivery teams as required Follow up on pending customer approvals outstanding selections and unresolved order information Coordinate delivery dates and customer availability once products are ready Support the resolution of order discrepancies incorrect specifications damages replacements and customer concerns Maintain complete digital records for every assigned order including approvals photographs measurements correspondence and factory documents Ensure all client-facing communication is professional and consistent with Edit Haus service standards Protect customer information pricing company documents and internal commercial information Maintain company-issued samples tablets documentation and other assigned assets in good condition Travel regularly across assigned UAE locations using a company or authorized vehicle Provide management with regular updates on active orders pending approvals production issues and upcoming deliveries

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Interior Design, Operations, Sales, Project Coordination or a related field preferred.
• 1–5 years of experience in furniture, interiors, fit-out, joinery, home furnishing, retail operations or a similar client-facing role preferred.
• Strong customer-facing and interpersonal skills.
• Confident visiting customers independently at residential properties.
• Good understanding of furniture materials, fabrics, finishes, colours and basic customization terminology.
• Ability to understand product specifications, dimensions and basic drawings.
• Comfortable taking and recording basic measurements accurately.
• Strong attention to detail, particularly when documenting customer selections and production specifications.
• Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple active orders simultaneously.
• Strong follow-up and coordination skills.
• Comfortable using tablets, smartphones, digital forms, e-signature platforms, spreadsheets and order-management systems.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Hindi, Malayalam, Arabic or other commonly spoken UAE languages are an advantage.
• Professional appearance and communication style suitable for dealing with premium residential customers.
• Able to identify discrepancies between quotations, customer selections and factory specifications.
• Commercially aware and able to recognize when a customer request constitutes a variation or additional charge.
• Able to work independently while coordinating closely with sales, production, accounts and delivery teams.
• Willing to travel frequently within the UAE.
• Valid UAE driving licence required.
• Familiarity with Wix, CRM systems, ERP software, accounting software or digital approval workflows is an advantage.
• Experience in furniture manufacturing, upholstery, joinery, interiors or bespoke furniture is highly desirable.
