Job summary

Amazon Now in Dubai is seeking an Operations Lead to own end-to-end last mile activities, coordinating small sites and dispatch operations. You will ensure delivery performance, safety, and cost targets while guiding a team and DSP partners.

Key duties include daily 4M/5S and GEMBA audits, coaching DAs, and driving continuous process improvements with DSPs. A strong background in warehousing or logistics and excellent Excel skills are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing environment, warehousing, logistics or manufacturing.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication.
• Proficient in Excel or equivalent spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

Do you want to be part of a newly formed organization that is designing and launching new business models across MENA? If so, Amazon Ultra Fast Grocery (UFG) operations is looking for an experienced Operations Lead with a strong record of achieving results. We are looking to hire an Operations Lead (UAE) to join a team that redefines fast delivery, helps us build and run this new service for our customers. You will ensure delivery performance and DSP on the road operations and safety.

Key job responsibilities

Basic Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing environment, warehousing, logistics or manufacturing

• Can demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel or equivalent spreadsheet tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma concepts
• A self-motivated person with the ability to motivate the associates/team members.
• Strong execution skills, action oriented, go getter.
• Resourceful to identify the way to get things done using limited resources.
• Ability to work under pressure situations.
• Ability to work in ambiguous situations and to come out with solutions as per the situations faced.
• Good people management, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Knowledge of SQL would be advantageous.
