Job summary

DR JOY HEALTH CARE MANAGEMENT DMCC is seeking an IT Assistant to support daily IT operations in our Jumeirah Lakes Towers offices and provide hands-on technical help onsite. Responsibilities include first-line support for hardware, software and networking; install and troubleshoot computers and printers; monitor networks; manage IT asset inventory; assist with system upgrades.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an IT support or technician role.
• Familiarity with Windows and Mac operating systems.
• Basic knowledge of network setup and troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite and provide hands-on technical assistance.
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple support requests.
• IT certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco credentials, Azure etc.
• Experience supporting cloud platforms and remote work tools.
• Exposure to basic server administration or backup solutions.
• Previous experience in a similar role in the UAE.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support to staff for hardware, software and networking issues.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot computer systems, printers and peripheral devices.
• Assist in providing user training on systems and security best practices.
• Monitor and maintain office networks and internet connectivity.
• Manage inventory of IT assets and ensure accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with IT team members to plan and execute system upgrades and maintenance tasks.
• Respond to and resolve IT support tickets and escalate complex issues as needed.
