The Online Merchandising Coordinator supports the daily execution of digital merchandising activities that influence how customers discover, evaluate, and purchase products online. The position combines product data management, content coordination, photography administration, category presentation, and trading analysis. Accuracy is especially important because product descriptions, imagery, availability, and category placement directly affect conversion, customer confidence, and brand presentation. By working closely with Online Merchandisers, buying teams, suppliers, warehouse colleagues, and studio teams, the coordinator helps maintain a consistent and commercially effective digital storefront.
The preferred candidate should hold a High School Certificate and have 1-2 years of experience in online merchandising, e-commerce, digital retail, or a related commercial environment. Previous exposure to Fashion and Home categories would be an advantage, particularly where the role involved product content, digital catalogues, online trading, studio coordination, or category merchandising. Strong editing and proofreading skills are important because the position requires careful handling of product information and customer-facing content. Advanced Microsoft Excel capability is also expected for reporting, tracking, and performance analysis. Candidates should demonstrate a customer-first mindset, commercial awareness, and the ability to prioritize work according to urgency and business impact. Confidence in identifying risks, taking ownership, and escalating issues appropriately will support success in the role.
