Online Merchandiser – Ecommerce Trading (Dubai, United Arab Emirates)

Key Responsibilities
- Execute day‑to‑day website updates through the KIBO platform and support accurate online trading activity.
- Build and update landing pages, campaign pages, seasonal features, and digital content areas based on business priorities.
- Support website refresh activity and online merchandising improvements to increase conversion and customer engagement.
- Coordinate with merchandising teams to ensure new products go live on time with accurate details, images, pricing, and categories.
- Tag, categorize, and optimize products for customer search, website navigation, and SEO performance.
- Test and publish digital content while maintaining high accuracy, brand standards, and customer experience quality.
- Manage product catalogue listings across Deliveroo, Foodpanda, Instashop, Grab, and other relevant quick commerce platforms.
- Maintain pricing, stock sync, product availability, images, descriptions, and listing quality across partner platforms.
- Coordinate uploads and updates of digital assets aligned with marketing campaigns, seasonal promotions, and trading plans.
- Monitor quick commerce platform KPIs including order availability, cancellation rates, delivery windows, fulfilment issues, and listing performance.
- Resolve platform‑level issues quickly by coordinating with internal teams and external platform contacts.
- Adapt product names, descriptions, imagery, and creative content for local market relevance and platform‑specific requirements.
- Liaise with marketing, content, e‑commerce, trading, and merchandising teams to gather assets for email, homepage banners, push notifications, PPC, and promotional campaigns.
- Prepare content briefs based on business direction, seasonal trends, product priorities, and digital trading needs.
- Maintain go‑live trackers for websites, campaigns, quick commerce platforms, product uploads, and promotional activity.
- Coordinate with SEO and performance marketing teams to support keyword usage, optimized product content, and improved digital visibility.
- Generate daily and weekly reports covering content status, product availability, platform performance, campaign execution, and operational issues.
- Provide data‑backed recommendations to improve digital merchandising, website performance, quick commerce execution, and customer experience.
- Work with the Trade Manager and trading teams to refine digital product presentation based on sales trends, availability, customer behaviour, and platform insights.
- Support continuous improvement in e‑commerce workflows, catalogue accuracy, campaign readiness, and reporting discipline.
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor's Degree is required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Online Merchandiser, Web Content Manager, Online Trading Executive, Ecommerce Coordinator, or similar digital retail role.
- Hands‑on experience with CMS platforms, preferably HCLDX, and e‑commerce backends such as KIBO or SAP.
- Experience managing catalogue listings, stock availability, pricing, assets, and platform operations on quick commerce channels is a strong advantage.
- Comfortable using web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, e‑commerce dashboards, and partner platform reports.
- Strong MS Excel skills with the ability to manage trackers, reports, product files, performance data, and catalogue updates.
- Good understanding of e‑commerce merchandising, digital product presentation, SEO tagging, content accuracy, and customer journey improvement.
- Excellent organisational and time‑management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and platforms at once.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Arabic language skills are an advantage.
- Detail‑oriented with the ability to review product data, images, content, pricing, and campaign assets accurately.
- Proactive and solutions‑driven, with the ability to identify issues and resolve them quickly.
- Able to work independently while collaborating closely with merchandising, trading, marketing, SEO, content, and platform teams.
- Comfortable adapting visual assets and product content for local markets and platform‑specific requirements.
- Commercially aware, reliable, and focused on improving digital execution, conversion, and platform performance.
