Abu Dhabi Ports is seeking a logistics professional to coordinate import and export shipments, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

You will prepare shipping documentation, review bills of lading and customs paperwork, and ensure compliance with regulations. The role requires strong English skills and 2–3 years of experience in freight forwarding operations.

Qualificações

• 2–3 years of experience in freight forwarding operations.
• Experience with import/export processes.
• Good command of English language.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate the import and export of goods ensuring timely and accurate processing of shipments.
• Prepare and review shipping documents including bills of lading invoices and customs paperwork.
• Ensure shipments comply with customs regulations and other legal requirements.
• Serve as a point of contact for clients with updates on shipment status.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the import and export of goods ensuring timely and accurate processing of shipments
• Prepare and review all necessary shipping documentation including bills of lading invoices and customs paperwork
• Ensure all shipments comply with customs regulations and other legal requirements
• Serve as a point of contact for clients providing updates on shipment status and addressing any inquiries or concerns
• Work closely with carriers suppliers and other logistics partners to ensure smooth and efficient operations
• Identify and resolve any issues or delays in the shipment process coordinating with relevant parties to find solutions
• Monitor and manage costs associated with freight forwarding seeking opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements
• Track and report on the performance of freight forwarding operations using metrics to identify areas for improvement
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless operations and adherence to company policies and procedures
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices within the department
