HBI designs, manufactures and delivers modular technical buildings for energy, oil and gas, and data centre sectors. The Sales Manager OEM, MENA oversees OEM targeting across UAE and the Gulf, coordinating RFQ intake, pricing and bid support while maintaining strong regional relationships.

The role focuses on coordinating with estimation, engineering and yard operations to ensure successful tendering and delivery, with regular visits and event representation across the region.

Qualifikationen

• Active network in sales, tendering and procurement teams of target OEMs.
• Willingness to travel across the region.

Aufgaben

• Cover all target OEMs in the region with named contacts in sales, tendering, procurement, engineering and project execution.
• Maintain relationships through regular face-to-face visits across UAE and Gulf region.
• Keep vendor registration and prequalification current for bidder lists.
• Present HBI's product range, references and yard capabilities to OEM contacts and business units.
• Host OEM customers at HBI yards for factory visits and audits.
• Know about every project entering an OEM office that fits HBI's offering.
• Record project details in CRM and brief management on upcoming enquiries.
• Support OEM bids with budgetary pricing and layouts when requested.
• Receive and verify RFQ packages; coordinate with estimation team.
• Chase and document technical clarifications between OEM and HBI teams.
• Arrange clarification meetings as needed.
• Determine delivery yards (UAE preferred, Port Klang as backup).
• Maintain CRM updates and provide monthly RFQ forecast for MENA OEMs.
• Report competitor activity and price levels from OEMs.
• Escalate leads to relevant colleagues as appropriate.
• Assist Commercial Manager during contract negotiations and handovers.
• Represent HBI at regional exhibitions and OEM supplier days.
