Job summary

Hidayath Group, a diversified business house spanning manufacturing and trading, seeks a skilled Business Development Manager for the HOLD Division to drive growth across its manufacturing and trading lines. You will lead strategic market initiatives, pursue project sales with architects and developers, and mentor the sales team to achieve objectives.

Based in the UAE, your track record in door hardware or related building materials, coupled with strong negotiation and relationship-building

Qualifications

• UAE experience in business development, trading or project sales is essential.
• Experience in door hardware, ironmongery, building materials or related sectors is mandatory.
• Experience handling international trading brands and suppliers is preferred.
• Proven track record in project sales and closing large-scale projects.
• Prior experience leading and mentoring a sales team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies for the HOLD Division.
• Identify, pursue and close project sales opportunities with architects, interior designers, contractors, developers, hospitality and real estate clients.
• Build and manage relationships with distributors, dealers and trading partners.
• Lead, mentor and manage the sales team by setting targets and monitoring performance.
• Prepare and negotiate commercial proposals, quotations and tender submissions.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with manufacturing and production teams for customised orders.
• Manage the sales pipeline and forecast revenue.
• Report regularly to senior management on sales performance and targets.
• Represent Hidayath Group at trade exhibitions, supplier meetings and industry events.
• Maintain strong after-sales relationships to generate repeat business.
