Job summary

Wynn Al Marjan Island in the UAE is recruiting a Network Operations Technician to join the IT Operations Engineering & Support Team. You will monitor network performance, detect outages, investigate incidents, and implement patches and firmware updates to keep the infrastructure secure and highly available for a global hospitality operation.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor's in IT or CS, 1–2 years in network operations, and hands-on experience with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and VLANs.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in IT, CS, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in network operations or IT infrastructure support.
• Proficiency in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and VLAN configurations.
• Familiarity with SolarWinds and ITSM platforms like ServiceNow.
• Experience with wireless systems and controllers (WLC).
• Certifications such as CCNA or Network+ are preferred.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; good communication.
• Cloud networking familiarity (Azure, AWS) is a plus.

About Wynn Al Marjan Island

Wynn Al Marjan Island will be the first integrated resort in the UAE. Set to open in 2027, the resort will be located 50 miles from Dubai International Airport in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. The resort will offer 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants, lounges, and bars, a theater, and a beach club. It will feature multiple swimming and wading pools, a five-star spa, a salon, a shopping promenade, and a celebrations and events center.

About The Position

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Network Operations Technician to join our IT Operations Engineering & Support Team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network systems for performance issues, outages, and security threats
• Investigate and resolve network problems using diagnostic tools and logs
• Perform routine maintenance and upgrades including patches, firmware updates, and configuration changes.
• Install and configure network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points
• Collaborate with network engineers and architects to optimize system performance
• Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, incidents, and resolutions
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to after-hours network alerts
• Support end users and IT teams with network-related issues and escalations
• Ensure compliance with internal security protocols and external regulatory standard

About You

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• 1-2 years of experience in network operations or IT infrastructure support
• Proficiency in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and VLAN configurations
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds) and ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow)
• Experience with wireless systems and controllers (e.g., WLC)
• Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or equivalent are preferred
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Familiarity with cloud networking (Azure, AWS) is a plus
