Job summary

Wynn Al Marjan Island in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Network Operations Technician to join our IT Operations Engineering & Support Team. The role focuses on monitoring network performance, resolving outages, and maintaining security across the enterprise network.

You will configure and troubleshoot TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and VLANs; install equipment; collaborate with engineers; document incidents; and participate in on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in network operations or IT infrastructure support.
• Proficiency in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and VLAN configurations.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds) and ITSM platforms (ServiceNow).
• Experience with wireless systems and controllers (WLC).
• Certifications such as CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA preferred.

• Investigate and resolve network problems using diagnostic tools and logs
• Perform routine maintenance and upgrades including patches firmware updates and configuration changes
• Install and configure network equipment such as routers switches firewalls and access points
• Collaborate with network engineers and architects to optimize system performance
• Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations incidents and resolutions
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to after-hours network alerts
• Support end users and IT teams with network-related issues and escalations
• Ensure compliance with internal security protocols and external regulatory standard

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualification:

• Diploma or Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• 1 2 years of experience in network operations or IT infrastructure support
• Proficiency in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and VLAN configurations
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds) and ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow)
• Experience with wireless systems and controllers (e.g., WLC)
• Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or equivalent are preferred
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
