Job summary

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking a Network Engineer to join our IT Operations Engineering & Support Team in the UAE. You will design, deploy, and support enterprise networks across LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, and cloud connectivity, while maintaining routers, switches, and firewall infrastructure.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in network engineering, strong TCP/IP knowledge, and hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper/Fortinet. Cloud networking and security principles are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in network engineering, infrastructure, or enterprise network support.
• Strong understanding of core networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF).
• Hands-on experience with enterprise networking platforms such as Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or equivalent; cloud networking experience preferred.
• Familiarity with SD-WAN, Zero Trust architecture, network segmentation, and security principles.

• Document network architecture and changes, support audits, disaster recovery, and end-user issues.

• Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and configuration optimization to ensure scalability and reliability
• Implement and enforce network security controls, including firewall rules and compliance standards
• Collaborate with vendors and internal IT teams to deliver secure, resilient network solutions
• Document network architecture and changes, support audits, disaster recovery initiatives, and end-user network issues

About You

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in network engineering, infrastructure, or enterprise network support
• Strong understanding of core networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF)
• Hands-on experience with enterprise networking platforms such as Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or equivalent
• Experience with cloud networking (Azure, AWS), virtualization, and multi-site network design
• Knowledge of SD-WAN, Zero Trust architecture, network segmentation, and modern security principles
• Proficiency with network monitoring and automation tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Ansible); CCNA/CCNP or equivalent certifications preferred, with strong analytical and communication skills.
