Job summary

Avsar Global is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to ensure safe, reliable operation of plant equipment across UAE sites. You will oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance, maintain spare parts inventory, and coordinate with vendors for AMCs, while ensuring QMS compliance and cross-functional collaboration.

Reporting to the COO, the role requires 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance, a relevant engineering degree, and the flexibility to work at JAFZA, DIP, and Abu

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related Engineering field.
• 3–5 years of plant/machinery maintenance experience in manufacturing or fabrication.
• Hands-on preventive and breakdown maintenance on production machinery.
• Proven knowledge of maintenance planning, spare-parts inventory management, and documentation.
• Familiarity with QMS requirements and related compliance/documentation.
• Strong coordination with production, purchase, stores, and external service providers.
• Willingness to work across multiple UAE sites (JAFZA, DIP, Abu Dhabi).

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and monitor preventive maintenance schedules and annual calendars.
• Oversee maintenance of core fabrication machinery and utilities.
• Manage spare parts inventory and two-year procurement planning.
• Maintain machine maintenance histories and ensure QMS compliance.
• Supervise external service providers and AMC vendors.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to schedule downtime and resolve issues.
