Job summary

Sundus is hiring a Business Development Officer to identify new business opportunities in Abu Dhabi / Dubai and support revenue growth through merchant acquisition. This 12-month contract role requires experience in merchant acquiring or banking and solid knowledge of UAE banking regulations.

You will need strong communication, negotiation, and sales skills, plus UAE market know-how and MS Office proficiency to succeed.

Qualifications

• Graduate or Diploma preferred but not essential.
• 3–5 years of experience in merchant acquiring or banking.
• Knowledge of UAE banking regulations, compliance, and payment products (VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, CUP).
• Strong communication, negotiation, marketing and sales skills.
• UAE market knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities and develop sales and marketing strategies to grow revenue.
• Retain existing merchants and drive revenue growth through strategic partnerships and merchant acquisition.
