Job summary

Green Line Electromechanical L.L.C. in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Senior QS Engineer to lead quantity surveying for MEP residential and commercial projects. You will prepare take-offs, estimates, BOQs, and tender documents while ensuring cost control from design through close-out.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical or electrical engineering degree and 8–10 years UAE experience, with strong negotiation, contract administration, and reporting skills. UAE driving license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 8–10 years UAE MEP/contracting experience.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, cost control, contracts, and tendering.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs, cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents for MEP projects.
• Review contract documents, specifications, and drawings.
• Monitor project costs, budget control, and cost forecasting throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and evaluate subcontractor quotations and payments.
• Handle variations, claims, and contractual correspondence with clients and consultants.
• Verify monthly progress billing and prepare interim payment applications.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, procurement, and planning departments.
• Analyze project risks related to commercial and contractual matters.
• Maintain records of quantities, material reconciliation, and project cost reports.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, contractual obligations, and UAE regulations.
• Support final account settlement and project close-out documentation.
