Job summary

Tanqeeb in Dubai is seeking a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator with 5+ years of UAE experience to deliver cost estimates for construction and MEP projects. You will analyze plans, prepare BOQ/tenders, and visit sites to verify quantities and ensure accurate costing.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in QS or related fields, with MRICS/MCIOB advantageous, and strong MS Excel/AutoCAD skills. You will manage multiple tenders while coordinating with suppliers and engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as MRICS, MCIOB, or equivalent are highly advantageous.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in quantity surveying and cost estimation within the construction and MEP sectors.
• Proven track record of successfully estimating and managing costs for complex building and infrastructure projects.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant UAE experience in Quantity Surveying / Estimation.
• Mandatory experience in both Construction and MEP projects.
• Strong knowledge of the UAE construction and MEP market, including current market rates.
• Experience in quantity take-off, BOQ preparation, rate analysis, costing, and tender estimation.
• Ability to read and understand MEP, architectural, and construction drawings.
• Experience in preparing quotations, tender submissions, variations, and cost estimates.
• Good knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and general construction works.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD.
• Strong coordination and communication skills with suppliers, subcontractors, Engineers, and Project Managers.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and meet deadlines.
