Job summary

Al Rostamani Group is seeking a seasoned Quantity Surveyor Engineer to manage all costs for construction projects, from initial estimates to final accounts. You will work with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure value for money and contractual compliance.

The role requires preparing budgets, cost reports, and constant cost monitoring across projects, with focus on identifying variations and opportunities for savings while maintaining quality and schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in cost estimation, budgets, and tender documents.
• Familiarity with variations, change orders, and final accounts.
• Proficiency in using cost estimation software and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates based on project specs, drawings and data.
• Develop initial budgets for new construction projects with all cost elements.
• Collaborate with PMs and design teams to choose cost-effective methods.
• Maintain cost control procedures, forecast costs and track against budget.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or timeline.
• Review contractor invoices, monitor progress and ensure contract compliance.
• Prepare regular cost reports and financial forecasts highlighting risks.
• Analyze cost variations and advise on corrective actions.
