Job summary

MTEC ELECTROMECHANICAL WORKS L.L.C. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor/Estimator to support the QS and Estimation Team in cost estimation, tendering, and cost control for mechanical and MEP works in the UAE. The role involves take-offs, BOQ preparation, and commercial support from tender to execution.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of experience in QS/Estimation, strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and related systems, and expertise in MS Excel; AutoCAD is a plus. UAE/GCC experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in QS/Estimation in MEP.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting and other mechanical systems.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office; AutoCAD knowledge preferred.
• UAE/GCC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review mechanical drawings, specifications, BOQs and tender documents.
• Prepare quantity take-offs from tender, IFC and shop drawings.
• Prepare and verify mechanical BOQs and measurement sheets.
• Prepare cost build-ups for material, labour, equipment and subcontractors.
• Assist in preparing tender documents, pricing schedules and tender summaries.
• Identify variations and support cost control and valuations.
