Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to lead MEP quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and tender management for large-scale projects in the UAE. The role requires strong knowledge of budgets, BOQs, and commercial controls within construction.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of UAE/GCC experience, proficiency in tender submissions, and familiarity with procurement processes. UAE-based on-site involvement is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP quantity surveying, estimation, or commercial management within the construction industry.
• Experience in UAE/GCC is highly desirable.
• MRICS or related commercial certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs from drawings and tender documents for MEP systems.
• Prepare preliminary budgets, cost plans, and detailed cost estimates for MEP works.
• Review tender documents, prepare detailed commercial submissions, and evaluate quotations.
• Coordinate with procurement and project teams to define scopes of work and place orders.
• Quantify, evaluate, and price variations and manage commercial claims.
