Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a seasoned MEP Quantity Surveyor to prepare and review BOQ, take-off quantities from drawings, and prepare tender pricing. You will monitor costs and perform rate analyses, compare quotations, and ensure UAE onsite experience.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in MEP, with strong measurement skills and UAE field exposure, and can join within one week to support urgent projects.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in MEP field.
• UAE onsite experience is mandatory.
• Available to join within one week.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review BOQ (Bill of Quantities) for MEP works.
• Take off quantities from MEP drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Measure HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, electrical and ELV works.
• Check BOQ quantities against drawings and site conditions.
• Identify discrepancies, omissions, and scope gaps.
• Prepare cost estimates for MEP works.
• Carry out rate analysis for materials, labour, equipment and installation.
• Obtain and compare supplier/subcontractor quotations.
• Prepare tender pricing and commercial comparisons.
• Monitor MEP project costs against the approved budget.
