Job summary

Al Ashram Contracting in Dubai seeks a detail-oriented MEP Quantity Surveyor to manage costs and contracts for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing projects. You will prepare take-offs, monitor budgets, and collaborate with project managers to ensure on-time delivery while maintaining compliance with UAE regulations.

Fluency in English is essential; Arabic is a plus. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of MEP systems, robust QS software skills, and a proactive, detail-driven approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as an MEP Quantity Surveyor in construction.
• Fluency in English; Arabic a plus.
• Experience with UAE construction laws and regulations is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems and measurement techniques.

Responsibilities

• Prepare MEP quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
• Manage tendering processes and bid evaluation for MEP works.
• Monitor project costs and prepare financial reports and forecasts.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve billing and contractual issues.
• Maintain records of all project variations, claims, and payments.
• Assist in contract negotiations and ensure compliance with project specifications and legal requirements.
• Conduct site visits to verify quantities and progress against project plans.
