Job summary

Dutco Construction Co. (L.L.C) is seeking a dedicated Document Controller to manage the documentation lifecycle for MEP projects in Dubai, UAE. You will maintain a centralized system, track revisions, and ensure timely submissions across design, engineering and construction teams.

The role requires a solid technical foundation from a related engineering or construction management degree and 3-5 years' experience in document control, especially in MEP contexts. Certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a relevant field is preferred to ensure a solid technical foundation.
• 3-5 years of experience in document control, specifically within MEP projects.
• Certification in document control or project management (e.g., PMI, APMP) is an advantage.
• Experience in using document management software (Aconex, Procore) is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage the documentation lifecycle for MEP projects ensuring all documents are accurately filed and accessible in compliance with project requirements.
• Maintain a centralized document control system that tracks submissions revisions and approvals to ensure project timelines are met.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely submission of documents and facilitate communication between design engineering and construction teams.
• Conduct regular audits of project documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness identifying discrepancies and recommending corrective actions.
