Job summary

Medica International Healthcare LLC in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Medical Coder cum Insurance Coordinator to ensure accurate medical coding, claims processing, billing coordination and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s or Diploma in Health Information Management or related field, CPC certification, and ICD-10-AM coding experience, with solid EHR

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Health Information Management, Medical Coding, Nursing, Pharmacy, or related healthcare discipline.
• AAPC CPC certification required.
• ICD-10-AM coding certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assign ICD-10-AM and CPT codes.
• Submit and track insurance claims via eClaimLink, Daman, Thiqa.
• Coordinate with insurers on approvals, rejections, and reimbursements.
• Maintain accurate EHR/medical billing records.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinic staff for complete documentation.
• Review documentation for coding accuracy and insurer compliance.
• Assist in applying for insurer network participation when required.
• Generate regular reports for clinic leadership and departments.
• Ensure compliance with DOH Abu Dhabi, MOH UAE, NRC/IAEA standards.
• Support quality audits and regulatory inspections.
• Identify coding/billing discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
