Job summary

TAMAS PROJECTS COMPANY - LLC in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Mechanical Estimator for Utilities Infrastructure to join our Tendering Estimation team. You will prepare detailed cost estimates for STP pump stations, water and wastewater infrastructure projects, and related piping networks, valves, and chambers.

The role requires 5–10 years in mechanical estimation, 3–5 years in utilities infrastructure or STP/pump stations, UAE/GCC experience, and a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in mechanical estimation.
• 3–5 years in utilities infrastructure / STP / pump stations.
• UAE/GCC experience mandatory.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven ability to prepare competitive mechanical cost estimates and tender submissions.

Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, IFB drawings, specifications, BOQs and scope of work.
• Prepare detailed mechanical cost estimates for STP, pumps, piping networks, and related equipment.
• Perform quantity take-offs for pumps, blowers, valves, fittings, and chambers.
• Prepare RFQs, coordinate with suppliers/subcontractors and evaluate quotations.
• Identify value engineering opportunities and coordinate with Civil, Electrical and Process teams.
