Job summary

Talent Tide seeks an Estimation Manager – MEP for a leading MEP contracting firm in Dubai. You will oversee the preparation and review of cost estimates, tender submissions, and BOQs, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.

The role requires a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree and 8+ years in MEP estimation, with managerial experience. Proficiency in estimation software and Excel is essential, and UAE/GCC experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• 8+ years of experience in MEP estimation, including managerial exposure.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, quantity take-offs, costing and tendering processes.
• Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Excel.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and review of accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for MEP projects.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and tender documents to determine project scope and pricing.
• Prepare BOQs, cost analyses, and commercial proposals.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams during the bidding process.
• Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions.
• Ensure all estimates are competitive, accurate, and submitted within deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in MEP estimation, including experience in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, quantity take-offs, costing, and tendering processes.
• Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Excel.
