Job summary

Advanced Maintenance Technology Consultants LLC in Dubai is seeking an Estimation Engineer with 2–3 years of MEP construction estimation experience. You will prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and quantity take-offs while supporting tender submissions and commercial teams.

The role requires reading drawings, specifications, and experience with estimation software. UAE experience is preferred; MS Excel proficiency is essential, AutoCAD is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years UAE MEP construction estimation experience preferred.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and estimation tools; AutoCAD is an advantage.

Job Title Estimation Engineer MEP Department Mechanical MEP Location Dubai UAE Experience 2 3 years minimum Industry MEP Construction

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Estimation Engineer with 2 3 years of experience in the MEP construction industry. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates reviewing tender documents preparing BOQs quantity take-offs and supporting the commercial and project teams during the tendering process

Key Responsibilities

• Review tender documents drawings specifications and scope of work
• Prepare accurate cost estimates BOQs and material quantity take-offs for MEP projects
• Analyze project requirements specifications and drawings to identify materials manpower and equipment requirements
• Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
• Conduct rate analysis and prepare competitive pricing for tender submissions
• Coordinate with suppliers subcontractors and internal departments to obtain required technical and commercial information
• Assist in preparing tender submissions commercial proposals and cost breakdowns
• Identify discrepancies omissions and potential risks in tender documents
• Maintain proper records of estimates quotations and tender documents
• Coordinate with the Engineering Procurement and Project teams to ensure accurate estimation
• Perform other estimation and commercial duties as assigned by management

Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, MEP Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 2–3 years of experience in MEP construction estimation. UAE experience is preferred. Good knowledge of MEP systems, materials, and construction practices. Experience in preparing BOQs, quantity take-offs, rate analysis, and cost estimates. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Proficiency in MS Excel and estimation-related software/tools. Knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage. Good analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tender deadlines. Good communication and coordination skills. Candidates currently available in the UAE are preferred. Candidates with UAE MEP contracting/construction experience will be highly considered.
