Job summary

Johnson & Johnson MedTech Surgery seeks a Business Unit Director for Rest of Middle East & Africa MEA to drive growth and commercial excellence across distributor-led markets. You will lead the regional strategy, partner with Marketing, Regulatory, Supply Chain and Finance, and accelerate access to innovation.

The role reports to the General Manager MEA and focuses on achieving sales profitability, market share, and long-range plans while building a high-performing regional team and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Healthcare, or related field.
• Significant commercial leadership experience within medical devices, healthcare, or related industries.
• Demonstrated success leading complex multi-country businesses across emerging markets.
• Strong distributor management and channel leadership experience.
• Proven track record of delivering sustainable growth and market expansion.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Experience across Middle East and African healthcare markets.
• Experience in a highly matrixed multinational organization.
• Experience supporting market transformation or direct market establishment initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sales growth, profitability and cash flow objectives across Rest of MEA.
• Develop and execute annual and long-range strategic business plans.
• Lead forecasting, demand planning and performance reviews for accountability.
• Build and implement distributor management strategy with governance and scorecards.
• Identify opportunities for market entry, expansion and strategic investments.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Finance and Customer Service.
