TechnipFMC, a global leader in energy technology with 21,000+ employees worldwide, is looking for a Materials Coordinator to manage the end-to-end flow of materials across its Dubai operations. The role covers delivery note creation, shipment coordination, customs documentation, SAP transactions, and inventory control — sitting at the junction of logistics, trade compliance, and warehouse operations within a highly technical energy sector environment. With only 40 applicants at time of posting, competition is notably low.
Dubai, UAE
You create and manage Delivery Notes in SAP, coordinate with the warehouse for packing readiness, labeling, and collection handover, and execute Post Goods Issue (PGI) after shipment collection. You post Goods Receipt (GR) in SAP following physical verification of inbound shipments and maintain accurate inventory records and storage location updates.
You compile shipping paperwork, coordinate Goods Release with customers, and liaise with customer-assigned freight forwarders to schedule and confirm timely pickup of outbound shipments. You track inbound and outbound shipments and provide regular updates to customers, sales teams, warehouse, and internal stakeholders.
You verify shipping documents, customs paperwork, HS codes, invoices, and packing lists for completeness and accuracy before shipment processing. You coordinate customs documentation with the OSC team for export and import shipments, prepare HS code summaries, and manage inbound clearance with freight forwarders — with specific focus on Jebel Ali Free Zone processes.
You monitor stock accuracy, conduct inventory checks, track excess and obsolete inventory, and collaborate with the sales team on write-off processes. You identify recurring process gaps across DN creation, shipment handover, clearance, GR/PGI, and documentation flow, and suggest improvements.
TechnipFMC is one of the most technically respected names in the global energy technology sector, and a Materials Coordinator role here offers genuine SAP operational depth — DN creation, PGI, GR, MM/SD — within a complex international trade and customs environment. The Jebel Ali Free Zone focus makes this particularly relevant for Dubai-based logistics professionals with UAE import/export experience. For coordinators looking to build a structured SAP and trade compliance foundation within a globally recognized energy group, this is a strong entry-to-mid level opportunity with low competition at time of posting.
