Overview
Manager – Website Platforms in Dubai, United Arab Emirates is an Education Management opportunity focused on multi‑site website operations, user experience, conversion optimisation, digital lead generation, platform governance and website transformation. GEMS Education is hiring an experienced web operations professional to manage its school and corporate website ecosystem while improving parent enquiry, enrolment and engagement journeys. The role will oversee daily website management and major redevelopment programmes across multiple GEMS brands and schools. It requires strong coordination across marketing, CRM, technology, content, school leadership and external development partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operation of all GEMS school, corporate and brand websites.
- Support internal teams with new pages, campaign landing pages, website launches, content updates and issue resolution.
- Act as the central owner of the multi‑site website environment.
- Coordinate website activity across marketing, CRM, technology, content and external development teams.
- Ensure integrations such as Salesforce forms, Calendly, analytics platforms and tracking tools operate correctly.
- Monitor overall website health, availability, performance and functionality.
- Maintain accessibility, search engine optimisation foundations and user experience standards.
- Review website structures, navigation, templates and page journeys to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Lead ongoing optimisation of homepages, campaign pages and key enrolment landing pages.
- Improve lead capture, parent enquiries, conversion rates and overall digital performance.
- Conduct regular website audits covering technical issues, broken links, compliance gaps, content accuracy and user friction.
- Analyse the parent enquiry and enrolment journey across devices and website touchpoints.
- Recommend practical UX and conversion improvements based on user behaviour and performance data.
- Establish clear workflows for website requests, approvals, publishing and issue escalation.
- Maintain governance standards across school and corporate websites.
- Balance local school requirements with Group‑wide consistency, scalability and brand control.
- Project manage end‑to‑end website revamps across multiple schools and GEMS brands.
- Develop migration plans, delivery schedules, dependencies, risks and approval milestones.
- Manage website development vendors and monitor delivery against agreed scope, timelines and quality standards.
- Coordinate principals, school marketing teams, digital stakeholders and technology teams throughout each project.
- Organise discovery and UX workshops to gather stakeholder requirements.
- Define website structures, templates, functionality and user journeys with relevant contributors.
- Work closely with the Content Strategist to align website architecture with content strategy.
- Ensure page structures and journeys support parent research, enquiry and enrolment decisions.
- Upload and format approved content supplied by content writers and internal stakeholders.
- Provide expert input on usability, navigation, conversion and customer journeys.
- Coordinate functional, visual, content and technical quality assurance.
- Manage user acceptance testing across desktop, tablet and mobile devices.
- Verify forms, CRM integrations, analytics, attribution, scheduling tools and tracking before launch.
- Support website launches and confirm all essential services function correctly.
- Monitor websites after launch and coordinate rapid resolution of defects.
- Train internal teams and school stakeholders on website management processes.
- Create documentation, operating guides and training recordings for ongoing platform use.
- Maintain accurate project records, change logs, issue trackers and governance documentation.
- Report website performance, project progress, risks and optimisation opportunities to management.
- Stay informed about UX, CRO, CMS, SEO, accessibility and web technology developments.
Ideal Profile
- Minimum seven years of experience in digital marketing, web operations, digital platform management or a related field.
- Proven experience managing multi‑site content management system environments.
- Demonstrated success delivering website migrations, redesigns or digital transformation projects.
- Strong understanding of website user experience, conversion rate optimisation and digital lead generation.
- Experience improving enquiry, registration, application or enrolment journeys.
- Knowledge of CRM integrations, attribution tracking, analytics and digital measurement.
- Familiarity with Salesforce forms, Calendly or comparable integration tools.
- Experience working across marketing, CRM, content and technical teams.
- Ability to manage website development agencies, vendors and implementation partners.
- Strong project management skills covering scope, timelines, dependencies, risks and approvals.
- Experience planning and managing website migration roadmaps.
- Familiarity with HubSpot, Sitecore and marketing automation platforms.
- Experience within education, multi‑brand or multi‑location organisations is preferred.
- Ability to balance platform governance, scalability, local requirements and performance.
- Strong knowledge of CMS publishing, page templates, responsive design and website quality assurance.
- Understanding of technical SEO, accessibility and website performance principles.
- Ability to develop structured workflows, documentation and operating frameworks.
- Confident communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
