Overview
The Corporate Partnerships Manager will develop and manage strategic corporate partnerships that create new student enrolment leads for GEMS Education schools. The role focuses on prospecting corporate accounts, presenting education benefit programmes, onboarding partners, guiding employees and relocating families through school search options, and tracking lead conversion through dashboards and CRM systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and acquire new corporate partners to establish employee education benefit programmes with GEMS Education.
- Build long‑term relationships with corporate stakeholders by understanding their business needs, employee demographics, relocation requirements, and education benefit priorities.
- Develop a strong new business pipeline across corporate communities to position GEMS Education as a preferred education provider.
- Conduct partnership presentations, commercial discussions, and negotiations with corporate decision‑makers.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, partnership agreements, activation plans, and customer relationship follow‑up materials.
- Collaborate with Sales Operations, Marketing, Creative, Finance, Schools, GEMS Rewards, GEMS For Life, and Enrichment teams to deliver partnership initiatives.
- Ensure all partnership activities align with GEMS brand guidelines, commercial frameworks, governance procedures, and internal approval processes.
- Work with Marketing teams to create partnership‑specific communication materials, campaigns, roadshow collateral, and employee engagement content.
- Launch new corporate partnerships through onboarding activities, internal communications, corporate roadshows, webinars, and employee briefing sessions.
- Organise webinars, corporate events, one‑to‑one consultations, and relocation guidance sessions for employees and families seeking school placements.
- Support corporate employees and relocating families by helping them identify suitable GEMS schools and understand the admissions journey.
- Track student enrolment leads generated through corporate partnerships and monitor conversion into confirmed enrolments using dashboards and CRM tools.
- Maintain the B2B Master Tracker, partnership pipeline, prospect records, activation updates, and performance reporting documents.
- Provide weekly updates on partnership progress, activations, lead generation, conversion performance, and commercial outcomes.
- Support GEMS Rewards in prospecting and managing media sales and sponsorship partnerships.
- Assist with media sales proposals, presentation materials, company objectives, channel recommendations, contract agreements, deliverable calendars, and execution follow‑up.
- Support revenue collection, payment follow‑ups, and coordination with internal finance teams where required.
- Maintain a collaborative working style while managing multiple priorities, internal stakeholders, corporate accounts, and time‑sensitive partnership activities.
- Follow GEMS Education policies, safeguarding expectations, governance standards, and professional codes of conduct at all times.
Ideal Profile
- Associate degree or higher in marketing, promotions, advertising sales, business administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate partnerships, business development, sales management, B2B sales, sponsorships, or a similar commercial role.
- Successful track record of meeting or exceeding sales, partnership, revenue, or lead generation targets.
- Strong understanding of the sales process, prospecting, cold calling, relationship development, proposal management, and customer engagement.
- Experience working with corporate clients, HR teams, relocation stakeholders, employee benefit programmes, or B2B partnership models.
- Knowledge of the education sector is desirable.
- Strong experience in digital marketing, social media, campaign coordination, and partnership communications.
- Comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders and persuading corporate partners by clearly communicating business value.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build networks and work with a wide variety of people each day.
- CRM and system proficiency with the ability to maintain trackers, dashboards, pipelines, and lead conversion records.
- Strong critical thinking, problem‑solving, time management, and multitasking ability.
- Energetic, collaborative, commercially focused, and comfortable in an environment where ideas are shared, challenged, and improved.
- Ability to manage shifting priorities while maintaining accuracy, follow‑up discipline, and relationship quality.
- A UK‑enhanced DBS or equivalent police clearance is required for appointment.
