Key Responsibilities
- Partner with regional and market Grocery and Retail leadership teams on organizational design, workforce effectiveness, culture, talent strategy, and leadership capability.
- Translate business strategy into clear people priorities that can be executed across eight regional markets.
- Align regional business objectives with local HR execution to ensure consistent delivery of people initiatives.
- Lead talent reviews, succession planning, and internal mobility discussions to support future leadership needs.
- Provide data‑driven insights on organizational health, retention risks, engagement trends, capability gaps, and workforce requirements.
- Support employee experience improvements by facilitating existing processes and developing practical new people programs.
- Address employee relations matters, grievances, workplace concerns, and policy‑related issues with confidentiality and fairness.
- Manage manpower plans and HR budgets while supporting hiring decisions based on business priorities.
- Work with leaders to improve employee engagement, motivation, communication, and team effectiveness.
- Maintain a positive working environment by encouraging transparent communication through proper internal channels.
- Monitor HR systems, people data, reporting processes, and employee‑related procedures to improve decision‑making.
- Implement and manage performance appraisal cycles that support accountability, high performance, and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate reward plans and benefits programs in alignment with the Rewards Centre of Excellence.
- Prepare HR reporting and people analytics in collaboration with Centre of Excellence teams.
- Influence stakeholders in complex matrix structures while creating clarity in ambiguous or fast‑changing business situations.
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Employment Relations, Business, or a related discipline.
- CIPD qualification or coaching background will be an advantage.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in HR business partnering, people partnering, or strategic HR advisory roles.
- Proven experience supporting leadership teams across multiple markets or complex matrix organisations.
- Strong understanding of organisational design, talent management, succession planning, workforce planning, and employee relations.
- Experience in retail, e‑commerce, logistics, fulfilment, operations‑heavy environments, or fast‑growth organisations is highly preferred.
- Able to work in ambiguous situations and bring structure, direction, and practical HR solutions.
- Strong ability to build trusted professional relationships through collaboration, discretion, and a growth‑oriented mindset.
- High level of confidentiality when handling sensitive employee, leadership, and business information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with confidence in advising senior stakeholders.
- Comfortable using HR data, reports, and people analytics to support decisions.
