The HR Business Partner serves as the connection between business leadership and the wider People and Organisation function. The role ensures workforce priorities, talent decisions, employee experience initiatives, and organizational development activities remain aligned with commercial goals and the broader people strategy. Working closely with managers and employees, the position supports the complete employee life cycle while providing practical guidance on performance, employee relations, workforce capability, engagement, and change. Strong business partnering in this role helps improve leadership effectiveness, employee retention, succession readiness, and organizational performance.
The successful candidate should hold a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related discipline and have relevant professional experience within Human Resources. Practical experience in Human Resources Business Partnering, employee relations, performance management and workforce planning is important. Candidates should also understand talent management practices covering succession planning, talent reviews, career development, and individual development plans. The role requires confidence when advising business leaders and managers on sensitive employee matters, organisational priorities, and people decisions. Previous involvement in employee engagement, change management, organisational effectiveness, or culture initiatives will add value. A solid understanding of employment regulations, Human Resource policies, compliance requirements, and effective people management practices is expected. Strong communication, coaching, analytical thinking, stakeholder management and influencing abilities are essential.
