Role Context

The HR Business Partner serves as the connection between business leadership and the wider People and Organisation function. The role ensures workforce priorities, talent decisions, employee experience initiatives, and organizational development activities remain aligned with commercial goals and the broader people strategy. Working closely with managers and employees, the position supports the complete employee life cycle while providing practical guidance on performance, employee relations, workforce capability, engagement, and change. Strong business partnering in this role helps improve leadership effectiveness, employee retention, succession readiness, and organizational performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with business leaders to translate business priorities into practical people strategies and workforce plans.
  • Advise managers on organizational structure, workforce requirements, employee capability, and people‑related business risks.
  • Manage employee relations cases and provide balanced guidance on workplace concerns, policy interpretation, and employee matters.
  • Coach managers on effective people management, difficult conversations, performance concerns, and employee development.
  • Ensure employee relations activities comply with applicable employment regulations and internal Human Resources policies.
  • Coordinate the performance management cycle covering objective setting, reviews, calibration, feedback, and performance improvement.
  • Support managers in addressing underperformance through structured development and improvement plans.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives based on workforce feedback, business needs, and employee experience priorities.
  • Contribute to culture, wellbeing, diversity, equity and inclusion, and internal communication programs.
  • Facilitate talent reviews to identify high‑potential employees, critical roles, development priorities and succession risks.
  • Support succession planning and maintain visibility of internal talent pipelines for key business positions.
  • Work with employees and managers on career development and individual development planning.
  • Partner with hiring managers to assess workforce needs and support recruitment priorities.
  • Contribute to Emiratisation initiatives designed to attract, develop, retain, and progress UAE National talent.
  • Review people metrics including turnover, headcount, performance, engagement, absence, and workforce movement.
  • Convert workforce data into insights that support leadership decisions and proactive people interventions.
  • Support organizational change initiatives by helping leaders manage communication, employee impact, and adoption.
  • Identify opportunities to improve Human Resources processes and strengthen the overall employee experience.
  • Collaborate with specialist Human Resources teams to ensure consistent delivery of recruitment, talent, learning, rewards, and employee services.
  • Maintain trusted relationships across management levels while balancing employee needs with business priorities.
Ideal Profile

The successful candidate should hold a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related discipline and have relevant professional experience within Human Resources. Practical experience in Human Resources Business Partnering, employee relations, performance management and workforce planning is important. Candidates should also understand talent management practices covering succession planning, talent reviews, career development, and individual development plans. The role requires confidence when advising business leaders and managers on sensitive employee matters, organisational priorities, and people decisions. Previous involvement in employee engagement, change management, organisational effectiveness, or culture initiatives will add value. A solid understanding of employment regulations, Human Resource policies, compliance requirements, and effective people management practices is expected. Strong communication, coaching, analytical thinking, stakeholder management and influencing abilities are essential.
